Windows XP - Windows Vista - Windows 7???

Windows 7 heißt jetzt auch Windows 7. Warum denn nicht gleich so, ich habe nie verstanden warum man neue Versionen einer Software mit Namen bennenen muss. Selbst Ubuntu hat neben den lustigen Namen noch vernünftige Versionnummern.
